Girls Fly 2 - Ham Radio volunteer opportunity

The Chilliwack Amateur Radio Club will be participating in Girls Fly 2, an aviation event taking place at Abbotsford Airport on April 27 and 28.

We are looking for hams to come out on one or both of those days to assist with communications. Basically, there are several static displays as well as helicopter flights occurring over the weekend. We roam around and pass information through our mobile communications trailer to keep things running smoothly. We can also view all of the static displays. We have been provided lunch in the past and we would expect the same this year.

Robert and Angela were there last year and I have participated several times.
