Club Day Run to Squamish Valley (Sat 12 Aug)

Post by IronDragon »

Hello Turtles,

Official Monthly Club Day Run to Squamish Valley and secondary trails in the area. I have explored in this area and there are some interesting places to go. Meeting location will be at Squamish Shell Gas Station (https://goo.gl/maps/TM7e4LxX19Nonn1H9) at 11am to head out. Will head to the trailhead to airdown at the trailhead. Places to visit on this run:

• Cloudburst Mountain (Branch 300)
• Mount Fee Trail (Branch 700)
• End of Squamish Valley

Vehicle Requirements: Stock Vehicle, rear lockers are always good, winch is good.
Terrain: FSR, Shelf Roads, May include green tunnels (BC Pin Striping).

Please indicate if you are interested and are going to attend. As always if you have any questions or need clarifications, please post them as well. Thank you.

I’m up for whatever. Replaced my excellent Kenwood 710 APRS radio with a Yaesu FTM-6000. Totally lightweight piece of kit, but am hoping that it at least meets CB standards. The Kenwood amplifier burned up, and it’s been a hassle to try to get it repaired. I’ll be moisturizing regularly to meet club expectations…🤣
